A new sink can change the outlet position or depth, so we replace the drain and trap along with the sink instead of forcing old parts to fit. Replacing sink drain assembly parts, including the basket strainer, tailpiece, and trap, also stops the slow leaks that worn gaskets cause. If the drain beyond the trap is clogged, clearing it goes to a drain-cleaning provider before the sink work.

Faucet holes matter as much as the bowl. A single-hole faucet can sit on a sink with extra holes under a deck plate, but a faucet that needs more holes than the sink has won’t fit. If the sink has a disposal, its mount and the dishwasher branch are reconnected to suit the new drain layout.

Replacing an outdoor faucet starts with the pipe material, access from inside the house, wall thickness, the shutoff arrangement, and how the new faucet will be fastened. A frost-free sillcock also needs the right stem length and pitch so water in its barrel can drain outside once the hose is disconnected.

We confirm the fixture and access, shut off the water at the right valves, remove the old fixture if that’s part of the job, and install the agreed parts. The supply lines, shutoffs, seals, mounting hardware, and drain connections depend on the fixture type and what you approved, and we follow the manufacturer’s required steps.

Once everything is connected, we run the fixture and check the accessible water and drain connections for visible leaks. Standard haul-away of the old fixture is included when your proposal lists it. A regular-hours visit carries an $80 dispatch fee — the cost of the visit, waived when you hire us for the work.
