Two households with the same number of people can need different softeners. The incoming hardness, daily water use and simultaneous fixture demand determine how much work the unit must do.

We review usable capacity, regeneration settings and service flow, along with the bypass, drain and access for salt. A unit that is too small can let hardness through between cycles. A larger tank is not automatically a better choice.

Water softener cost includes both the equipment and the work needed to install it. Existing connections, pipe changes, drainage, power and working space affect the quote. We also explain recurring salt and maintenance costs before you decide.

A drinking-water RO system needs suitable supply pressure, a faucet, drainage and room to service the filters and membrane. We review those details before installing it so normal maintenance remains practical after the cabinet is full.

Slow production, a changed taste or a leak can have more than one cause. For reverse osmosis service, we check the model, cartridge history and operating conditions before recommending filter or membrane replacement. Parts must fit the system, and service follows its flushing and sanitation instructions.

Reduction claims belong to the exact model and configuration. Laboratory testing is required for PFAS concerns; an RO label by itself does not establish that every contaminant is addressed.

Iron treatment depends on the measured conditions and the selected equipment’s requirements. Flow, pH and backwash needs matter alongside the amount of iron. A stain is a starting clue, not enough information to choose a filter.

UV serves a different purpose from a mineral or sediment filter. Its performance depends on suitable incoming water, rated flow, power and maintenance. We plan compatible treatment stages from the laboratory findings and the home’s plumbing. Well-pump work is outside this service.
