An ignition lockout means the control stopped firing because a required condition was not proven. Preserve the code; repeated resets can hide ignition, flame-sensing, venting, fuel, or control evidence.
Low boiler pressure may point to a leak, trapped air, expansion, relief discharge, or a feed-control fault. Adding water can hide the recurring loss and introduce oxygen before the cause is known.
A frozen or blocked condensate path can stop a condensing boiler that cannot drain safely. A torch, open flame, or uncontrolled heat near plastic piping is not a safe fix.
